Krischa Winright holds the role of Executive Vice President of Senior Health Services, an Emergent Holdings division of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.  In this role, Krischa is accountable for the performance and development of the Medicare business unit for BCBSM, which is approaching $8B in annual revenue and serves over 775,000 members.  Krischa’s passion and drive for innovation in health care is applied daily in this evolving market, which over the next decade will grow significantly.

Krischa is driving transformation through leveraging advanced analytics to target and drive growth opportunities, deploying innovative clinical programs, creating digital solutions to drive increased consumer engagement, and advancing partnerships with key providers, partners, employers, and agents who join with us in this mission.  She has an extensive background with over 25 years of healthcare and technology leadership, with extensive experience in Medicare Advantage and marketing.

Prior to joining BCBSM in 2017, Krischa served for 18 years in a variety of leadership positions including CIO and CMO with Priority Health, a subsidiary of Spectrum Health, as well as led all consumer digital solutions for the Spectrum Health enterprise.  She was named in 2016 by Crain’s Detroit as one of “50 names to know in information technology”. She also has broad experience in insurance, including property and casualty business models in addition to health insurance.  She is married and a mother of three, and is a long-time resident of Michigan.
