IOI was founded in 2020.

What is IOIs business status?

IOI was awarded 501c 3 non-profit status by the IRS in September 2021.

What is IOIs relationship with MiHIN?

IOI is an independent 501c 3 organization that leverages the shared services supplied by both MiHIN and Velatura. This relationship allows IOI to focus on customer service, performance management, and continuous improvement of our solution offerings. Using the shared services model helps IOI development respond to the changing needs of our customers by clarifying the delivery of services, ensuring greater transparency for the business, and aligning our customer expectations up front while controlling costs.

What is the relationship between IOI and InterOp.Community?

IOI is an active member of the InterOp.Community of practice an emerging collaboration to advance healthcare interoperability through open platforms and open-source software. IOI provides support to the community through a strategic business unit that includes legal, marketing, communications, and finance. Learn more…

IOI employs more than 30 Employees.

How many interns are in the Workforce Development program?

IOI employs more than 70 interns in all areas of operation. IOI partners with MiHIN to develop a health IT workforce program.

IOI serves Health Information Networks in Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and New Jersey. Although based in Michigan, through our commitment to offering our employees flexible working environments some employees are located across the U.S.
